Patricia Adams, MSW, LCSW

Port Orange, FL

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Patricia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at SUNY Geneseo, and her Master’s in Social Welfare, with a clinical concentration, at The University at Albany, New York. She earned her LCSW license in Florida in 2009, and is also a Qualified Supervisor for social workers working toward their independent licensure.

She spent many years working as a Social Worker in the medical field in hospitals, home health agencies, long-term care centers, and hospices. She recognized the link between chronic illnesses and traumatic histories with her clients and started training in a variety of therapeutic modalities to treat trauma.

When she completed her Basic ART training in 2018, she knew she had found a therapeutic modality that was quickly benefiting her clients without residual negative emotional reactions. After becoming a Master ART Practitioner, her passion to bring this training to therapists was ignited. Patricia is a trainer for both Basic and Advanced levels of ART classes. Patricia has provided ART sessions to hundreds of clients, with a focus on grief, post traumatic stress, and anxiety.

Patricia is in private practice in Daytona Beach, FL.
