I am Dr. Lorene Heuvelman-Hutchinson. I received my BS and MS in clinical psychology from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. I attended the University of South Florida to earn my EdS in school psychology. In 2012, I completed my EdD with a specialization in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. In 2018, I returned to school to earn my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University.
Professionally, I have served students and families for 30 years, either in the school system, university system, and in private practice as a school psychologist, professor, or licensed professional counselor and supervisor. I have been trained in ART since 2020. I completed my dissertation for my PsyD by studying Accelerated Resolution Therapy’s effectiveness with parents whose children were diagnosed with autism. My other research interests include behavioral assessment, parenting, adoption issues, and the development of community in online learning.
