I provide face-to-face and telehealth psychotherapy services to clients who are 16 years of age and older experiencing the challenges of trauma, crises, unhealthy boundaries, relationships, anxiety and depression. Too often we are expected to travel through life’s journey without acknowledging the incredible demands of self-exploration, healing and discovery. Our world has taught us to believe that if we cannot see hurt, aches, pain or trauma from the outside, then it must not be there. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) became the most effective tool in my practice toolbox to help clients identify and resolve traumatic experiences and trauma responses. I became trained in ART in 2023 and made the decision to further my expertise in becoming a trainer after recognizing the need for this tool to be in other practitioners’ toolboxes. As a provider, I’m of the opinion that access to this tool is a necessity, it is not a preference. I successfully use ART during face-to-face and telehealth sessions in the private setting and have formerly used ART in residential short-term treatment. ART has proven to be effective across numerous settings, presenting problems, and populations. I am passionate about the belief that mental health does not discriminate, and neither does the use of ART.
