Harrisburg, PA
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling from The George Washington University and master’s in psychological counseling from Teacher’s College, Columbia University and bachelor’s in psychology from Penn State University.
I practice in the Harrisburg, PA area and currently serve as the director of a college counseling center and disability office. Training is conveniently located near Harrisburg International Airport and Amtrack train station in Middletown, PA.
As a certified Master ART Therapist, I am a trainer for BASIC ART training and able to travel to colleges and universities, groups and organizations to train.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health and trauma care across non-profit agencies, hospitals, colleges and universities, I specialize in providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive treatment that honors the lived experiences of each individual.
I have expertise in trauma, concussion recovery, behavioral medicine as well as domestic violence and trauma crisis treatment at leading national medical centers in the USA. I have worked at several R-1 university institutions within higher education focused on mental health, multicultural empathy, and rehabilitation counseling.
As a dedicated researcher, educator and practitioner – I genuinely believe in the power of ART and have experienced the power with clients in a short-term treatment model. ART is a cutting edge transformative clinical protocol for clinicians surviving trauma work in a fast-paced college counseling center or medical office. I’d be happy to train you and your team so you can experience the benefits yourself and revive your practice and hope for healing trauma.
